Our ever-evolving line of furniture editions is developed in close collaboration with small local workshops. The designs are rooted in our love of craft, our study of traditional joinery and our belief that we form a deep connection with pieces made by another human being.
As designers we reference our inspirations. We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, just to make one ourselves. We admire furniture that we understand, that is honest. Honesty is transparency in construction. Our designs are a showcase of craft. We refine the details of our pieces over years before we believe they are where they need to be. Every piece is the result of a passionate dialogue between us and the craftspeople at our side.
Understanding not only the aesthetic but also how a piece is made, how it works, is essential to build a personal relationship with the things that surround us. Knowing that a skilled worker spent hours and often days on a piece let’s us value and appreciate it. Well made furniture will last longer than a lifetime.
We think only in natural materials. Wood, iron, stone, linens and leather are not only a finish but a source of inspiration. The natural patina these materials promise with time are an intrinsic part of our collection.
We don’t have stock or an ongoing production and lead time varies depending on the schedule and availability of our makers.
